Gogo Loses United Airlines

Gogo, the in-flight wireless service provider which has operations in Broomfield, Colorado, looks to have lost one of its customers, United Airlines, after United said it is installing systems from competitor Panasonic Avionics in all of its planes. United Continental said that it has tapped Panasonic Avionics Corporation for Wi-Fi Internet services on its planes. United had been offering up Gogo Internet on its transcontinental flights, between New York (JFK) and both Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO). In a statement, Gogo said that it believes that its current service is "superior in many ways" to the satellite-based services that Panasonic offers.
