Globecast Becomes Keystone

GlobeCast Enterprise Services reported Tuesday that it has officially changed its corporate name to Keystone Enterprise Services<,/b>. The Salt Lake City, Utah-based firm explained that the new name better reflects its refined focus on large-scale secure video and media delivery services for enterprises. Keystone noted that its new handle is also an old one—it first began operations 28 years ago as Bonneville Satellite, one of the country's first satellite-based corporate television networks, before becoming Keystone Communications in 1989. After being acquired by France Telecom in 1996, the company then purchased the U.S.-based enterprise services business unit of GlobeCast—a France Telecom subsidiary—two years ago.
