Fusion-io Powers European Cloud Services Provider

Salt Lake City-based Fusion-io, the provider of solid state storage products, said today that Host Europe GMbH, a provider of managed cloud services, it using its Fusion ioMemory technology in its data center. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Fusion-io said Host Europe is using its products to help provide consistent performance of its databases, which are used for gaming databases being run in Host Europe's cloud. Fusion-io said its products help manage rapid spikes in demand and unpredictable workloads on a MySQL implementation for massively multi-player, online social games.
