Foundry Leads Investment In Chute

Boulder-based venture capital firm Foundry Group is the lead investor in a developer of media pulbishing tools, Chute. Chute announced a $7M, Series A funding round this morning, led by Foundry Group, and also including Freestyle Capital and U.S. Venture Partners. Chute's backers also include Battery Ventures, the Knight Foudnation, and Turner. Chute develops software which alows mobile application developers to easily add photo sharing into their apps; the firm's software is already being used by CNN, the NBA, COnde Nast, and many other brands.
