FireSky Launches Stargate MMORPG

Mesa, Arizona-based FireSky said Thursday that it has formed a new game publishing company focused on massively multiplayer, online role playing games. The firm said that it would launch Stargate Worlds, a MMORPG based on the popular science fiction series Stargate, owned by MGM. Firesky said the firm is also working on other unannounced titles for the online gaming space. The firm's Stargate Worlds revolves around the environment created by Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis science fiction television series. FireSky is a subsidiary of Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment.
