Federal Court Tosses Colorado Internet Tax

A federal court has ruled that Colorado's Internet tax law--which had been temporarily blocked in court last year--is unconstitutional, and imposes an "undue burden on interstate commerce." According to a report from the Denver Post, the ruling by U.S. District Judge Robert Blackburn blocks implementation of the law, which had been passed to balance the state budget. It's unclear if Colorado will seek to appeal the ruling. Colorado lawmakers passed HB1192 in February of 2010.
