Eversync Acquired by Infrascale

Salt Lake City-based Eversync, which developed cloud-based backup appliances, has been acquired by Los Angeles-based online backup provider Infrascale, Infrascale announced today. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Infrascale said the acquisition came as part of a new, $16.3M funding round for the company, which was targeted at acquisition of EverSync and other expansion efforts. The Series B funding for Infrascale came from Carrick Capital Partners. Eversync was founded by Steve "max" Ackerman (SonicWALL, Phobos) and Christopher Hull (Silicon Graphics, SonicWALL).
