Everspin Targets RAID Storage

Chandler, Arizona-based Everspin Technologies, a developer of magnetoresistive random access memory (MRAM), announced today that it has launched a new product targeted at the RAID storage market. According to the firm, it has developed a line of MRAM products which support 1.8 volt, low-voltage I/O, which is used by RAID OEM manufacturers. The firm said the new support eliminates the need for level shifters in using its products for new, logic controllers for RAID devices.
