DISH Network Makes New Offer For Clearwire

Englewood, Colorado-based Dish Network made a counter offer to acquire Clearwire this morning, saying that it will offer $4.40 per share in cash for Clearwire. Clearwire is in the midst of an acquisition by Sprint Nextel. Sprint--which already owns a majority of Clearwire--is offering $3.40 per share for Clearwire's remaining shares.
