DDC-I Gets Avionics Win

Phoenix-based DDC-I, a developer of real-time operating systems, said today that its Deos real time operating system has been selected by Goodrich's Sensors and Integrated Systems business. DDC-I said that the firm's RTOS will be used for a electronic flight bag (EFB) system, which is used on aircraft and is being aimed at Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast In (ADS-B In) and advanced communications applications. Expected shipment volumes and financial impact of the design win were not disclosed.
