Cymphonix Ships Free Network Monitoring Tool

Salt Lake City-based Cymphonix, a developer of Internet security and monitoring products, announced Tuesday that it is shipping a free tool to help IT administrators monitor their Internet traffic. The firm said its new product, Network Revealer, will help IT managers find unsafe or inappropriate behaviors on their network. The firm said the free offering is a way to demonstrate its technology to prospective customers. The free software is based on the firm's Network Composer network gateway appliance.
