Cymphonix Gets Investment From Intel

Salt Lake City, Utah-based Cymphonix announced this morning that it has received an investment from Intel Capital, as part of a $5.4M Series A funding round. The firm said that the investment will be used to expand the company's solutions and marketing reach. Other investors in the company's Series A include vSpring Capital, and Prospector Equity Capital, who were investors in the company's initial close last year. Cymphonix also will have its network threat protection technology in Intel's Converged Application Platform (CAP) reference design. More information »
