Capshare Gets Strategic Investment, Opens San Francisco Office

Salt Lake City-based Capshare, which develops a web-based equity management and valuation software platform, has scored a strategic funding from private equity fund administration provider Standish Management. Size of the investment was not announced. As part of the funding, Capshare says it will open a new office in San Francisco. Capshare's software is used for fund valuation, managing equity positions, and other equity management tasks. The company has previously raised funding from Draper Associates, Kickstart Seed Fund, and Jeremy Andrus (former SkullCandy CEO). Capshare is led by Jeron Paul. More information »
