Cadeka Microcircuits Acquired By Exar
Loveland, Colorado-based mixed signal semiconductor developer Cadeka Microcircuits has been acquired by Exar Corporation. Exar said it paid $29M in cash and stock, plus unspecified earnout, for Cadeka this morning. Cadeka provides amplifiers, compartors, analog to digital converters, and other similar products for the medical electronics, aerospace, test and measurement, surveillance and industrial control markets. Cadeka had locations both in Loveland, as well as Shenzhen and Wuxi, China.
