COPAN Certifies With Tivoli

Longmont, Colorado-based COPAN Systems announced this morning that its Revolution 220T and 220TX products have been certified with Tivoli's popular Tivoli Storage Manager 5.3 software. The firm, which develops tape replacement systems based on power optimized disk arrays, said that its products have been certified to provide technical validation of the products. IBM's Tivoli storage software is used to automate and monitor storage area networks and storage devices. COPAN's MAID platforms use disk power optimization to provide low cost disk storage that can replace tape.
