Aztek Networks Acquired By GENBAND

Boulder-based Aztek Networks, a developer of switching and IP gateway products, has been acquired by GENBAND, a manufacturer of IP telecommunications gear based in Texas. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. GENBAND said the technology acquired from Aztek will enhance its offerings. Aztek was backed by Verizon Ventures, along with Grotech Capital Group, Legend Ventures, Sequel Venture Partners, and Telecommunication Development Fund.
