Avnet Names Sales VP

Phoenix-based electronics distributor Avnet announced this morning that it has named Steve Gomez as its new Vice President of Sales in the Americas. Gomez was most recently VP and Area Director of the West and Latin America region for the company. Gomez takes the spot of Chuck Delph, who recently was promoted to President of Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas. The company said Gomez has 28 years of experience in the industry. Avnet is a major provider of electronics and other technology products to the channel.
