Avnet Completes Buy Of Australian VAR

Phoenix-based Avnet said Monday evening that it has completed its acquisition of itX Group Limited, an Australian value added distributor of IT software, hardware, and services. The deal was worth $791.M. Avnet said the acquisition will significantly expand its competitive position in Australia. itX has approximately 150 employees, and revenues of approximately $162.8M for the year ended June 30, 2010.
