AtTask Upgrades Software

Orem, Utah-based project management software provider AtTask has released the latest version of the firm's software-as-a-service products, saying today that its July update adds single-sign on support, faster Gantt chart reports, and new reporting capability. According to AtTask, the major update to the firm's software this month was the addition of "single-sign on" to the product, with support for LDAP and Active Directory. Single sign-on is the ability for software to use a centralized directory of users and permissions, to reduce the number of passwords and user accounts across a company's operations. The support means that administrators can easily add--and remove--users through LDAP or Microsoft's Active Directory, without needing to also create, delete, and maintain equivalent user accounts within AtTask.
