Ascent Solar Names Consumer Division Head

Thornton, Colorado-based Ascent Solar has appointed a new head of its consumer, EnerPlex line of solar chargers, the company announced this morning. Ascent Solar--which makes thin film solar panels, plus consumer-oriented products which incorporate those panels--said it has named Richard Hashin as VP and GM of its EnerPlex consumer electronics divion. Hashin previously was at Corsair Components; he also has served at Shell Petroleum.
