Ascent Solar Delivers Module To SkySentry

Thornton, Colorado-based Ascent Solar Technologies, which is developing flexible, thin-film solar modules, reported today that it has delivered a flexible CIGS PV array to Colorado Springs-based SkySentry, a developer of high altitude surveillance vehicles. Ascent said the array will be used in an aerostat test, to test the performance of thin-film solar arrays. SkySentry said it would be studying the performance of the solar array. SkySentry's vehicles are being applied to national security and surveillance applications.
