Ancestry.com Expands Yearbook Collection

Provo, Utah-based Ancestry.com, the provider of online family history information, said this week that it has bolstered its collection of school yearbooks. According to the firm, it has added more than 25,000 new yearbooks to its collection, bringing the total to 35,000 yearbooks. Ancestry.com has been digitizing and collecting yearbooks since August of last year. The company said it has bolstered its collection to 155 million records. The firm's data includes photos and other information from U.S. high schools, junior highs, colleges, academies, and universities.
