Ancestry.com Completes iArchives Buy

Provo, Utah-based Ancestry.com said Thursday that it has completed its acquisition of iArchives, Inc. and its branded Web site, Footnote.com. Ancestry.com said it would issue approximately 1.022 million shares of its common stock as part of the acquisition. Ancestry.com operates an online family history web site; iArchives Footnote.com features historical records and other documents often used by family and genealogy researchers. Ancestry.com said it would buy iArchives on September 23rd.
