Altiris Names EMEA Head

Salt Lake City, Utah-based Altiris has named a new general manager for its EMEA operations, the firm said today. Altiris said that it has named Ed Reilly as general manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Reilly has previously served at Peregrine Systems, Siebel Systems, Oracle, and others. Altiris develops IT software used for deployment and management of enterprise servers and systems, and is backed by Dell Ventures, Technology Crossover Ventures, and vSpring Capital.
