Altiris Announces Windows Vista Installer Support

Salt Lake City, Utah-based Altiris announced today that it has released a new version of the firm's Wise Installation Studio product which supports the new Windows Vista operating system. The upgraded version of the product, version 7.0, includes support for Windows Vista, 64-bit Windows operating systems, and Windows Mobile 5. Wise Installation Studio is used by software developers to develop customer installation packages. The firm also said it has added integration of Nalpeiron's PRO-Tector Standard, a trialware generation tool.
