Aircell To Add Voice To Gogo Biz
Broomfield, Colorado- and Itasca, Illinois-based Aircell, the provider of in-flight Wi-Fi and broadband connectivity, said today that it will be adding voice services to its business class service, Gogo Biz. The firm said the new features will come in late 2011, supporting both voice calls and Internet sessions. Aircell provides its equipment and services to private and business aircraft operators. Aircell claimed its new service will support "several" simultaneous voice calls and internet sessions at one time, using its air-to-ground network. Most of Aircell's business aviation services are based out of Broomfield.
