Addictionary Looks For Web 2.0 Lingo

Addictionary.org and Stanford University's Media X have teamed together to host the Media leXicography Challenge. The contest, which started March 26 and concludes Thursday, is open to the public and offers a grand prize of $250 cash to the individual who tenders the best example of Web 2.0 lingo. T-shirts emblazoned with the participants' winning non-words will be awarded to runners-up, and all entrants will receive copies of Stanford's word-analysis software. Addictionary.org is an online word-play Web site focused on word games. It is owned and operated by SpectrumDNA Inc., a company based in Park City, Utah. Media X is a community of Stanford academic and business researchers studying interactive communications and technology.
