Able Planet Installs Marketing VP

Able Planet Inc., a manufacturer of listening and communication devices, reported Tuesday that it has hired Kiva Allgood as vice president of marketing. The Wheat Ridge, Colo.-based business noted that, prior to joining the company, Allgood served as senior director of sales for Motorola's North America Mobile Devices business. Before that, Able Planet said, Allgood functioned as director of global product marketing and director of operations for the CDMA Product Development Group. Allgood also held numerous management positions at GE Consumer Products, Able Planet added. Able Planet is a University of Colorado spinoff.
