ARCA Discovery Raises $15M
Denver, Colorado-based ARCA Discovery has raised $15M in a Series A venture round. The firm, which is developing genetically-targeted therapies for heart failure and other cardiovascular diseases, said that the funding came from Atlas Ventures, Boulder Ventures, and Pequot Capital Management. Atlas Ventures led the round. The company said that it would use the funding to complete the filing of a New Drug Application (NDA) for its drug bucindolol. That candidate has been in Phase II clinical trials for treating advanced heart failure and myocardial ischemia. More information »
