Scottsdale, Arizona-based The 41st Parameter, a venture backed publisher of online fraud detection and prevention software-as-a-service, revealed Tuesday that computer products retailer ZipZoomfly.com will use The 41st Parameter's flagship FraudNet application to protect and support its business growth. Similar to Newegg.com, ZipZoomfly.com enables customers to shop for computer products and electronics from their homes. The 41st Parameter is venture backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Norwest Venture Partners. Formerly named Googlegear, ZipZoomfly.com was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Newark, Calif.
