Wunder Capital Gets $3.6M For Solar Project Funding

Boulder-based Wunder Capital, a new startup which has created an online platform to help connect investors with large-scale, solar power projects, has raised $3.6M in a Series A funding, the company said this morning. The funding was led by Techstars Ventures, Fenway Summer, and Fintech Collective, and also included the company's seed investors. Wunder Capital is led by Bryan Birsic. The company said it has now raised a total of $4.7M in funding. Wunder Capital says it takes investments as little as $1,000, and offers up returns of as high as 11 percent for funding solar projects from installers, developers, and distributors across the country. The company is aiming its service at accredited individuals, trusts, family offices, foundations, hedge funds and pension funds. More information »
