What's Going Round Combines Health, Social Networking
A new Denver-based startup, What's Going Round, said today it is looking to help web users with a new, health-based social networking site. The site--focused on helping users become aware of the diseases circulating in their community--said it has yet to take funding, but is currently pursuing first round funding for development and expansion. Founders of the firm include Jim Campanell and Kevin Ellis. What's Going Round lets people share what kinds of ailments are bothering them at one time, and allows others to see people within their area with those ailments. The company described itself as a "Web 2.0 based symptom tracking system" aimed at helping users become more informed about medical care.
