Broomfield, Colorado-based Webroot, the developer of Internet security software, said this week that it has named Jacques Erasmus as Chief Information Security Officer. The firm said that Erasmus will oversee its data security operations, development, implementation, and compliance. Erasmus has been at Webroot since 2010, when the firm acquired his prior firm, PRevx. He also has previously served at Sun Microsystems.
