Virgin America's Flights Between Silicon Valley, Denver Debut Tuesday
Denver--and the growing population of startups and companies serving the technology industry surrounding the city--is about to get another link to Silicon Valley, thanks to Virgin America, which starts regular service between SFO and DIA on Tuesday. Virgin America--which announced its move offer direct flights between San Francisco and Denver in November--is offering up three flights daily during weekdays, and twice daily flights on weekends between the two technology centers. Virgin America had said last year that Denver was the number one most requested location of its corporate clients in Silicon Valley. Sir Richard Branson is launching the new route--and a new startup accelerator, the Virgin Media Accelerator in London--through an in-flight event between SFO and DIA next week.
