Tendril Ties With Green Printing Firm

Boulder-based Tendril, which provides software for tracking energy usage, said this week that it has tied with a company which helps to reduce the environmental impact of receiving paper reports. Tendril said it has tied with PrintReleaf, a group which helps to reduce the impact of printing through reforestation efforts, as part of its delivery of Home Energy Reports (HERS). Tendril said that--despite its efforts to reduce energy usage--it currently relies on printing and mailing of paper-based reports. Tendril said PrintReleaf will plant 4,500 trees to cover the nearly 20 million reports sent to date by the company in conjunction with its utility partners, among other efforts.
