    Center 7 Acquires Tier Four, Changes Name

    Center 7 Inc., a regional provider of colocation and managed hosting services, announced Tuesday that it has finalized its acquisition of fellow hosted infrastructure provider Tier Four Inc. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Center 7 also reported that it has updated its corporate name and is now called C7 Data Centers Inc. According to C7, the merger will allow the Lindon, Utah-based company to meet market demands within the Salt Lake City metropolitan area and throughout the Intermountain West. C7 also said it plans to open environmentally friendly data centers in southern Salt Lake County and northern Utah.
