Grow Utah Ventures Names Finalists Grow Utah Ventures, a privately funded organization dedicated to assisting entrepreneurs and early stage businesses, identified Monday the eight finalists for its Southern Utah "Concept to Company" contest. The not-for-profit firm identified the finalists as CABOsoft LLC, Proseedure Media, HotZing.com, SC Corp., Efficient Fueling Systems, EasyLoadPro.com, Moki Systems and Perfect 10 Media. Grow Utah Ventures said the octet was whittled down from more than 70 applications over a two-month period. According to Grow Utah Ventures, first prize will receive $20,000 in cash and services while second and third places will earn $10,000 in cash and services. Winners will be announced Jan. 14 at the Washington County Economic Summit in St. George, Utah. Grow Utah Ventures added that, starting in February, it will follow the Southern Utah competition with one for the Salt Lake City area focusing on bio-medical devices and services. posted on Monday, January 5, 2009
