    iMergent Expands Board

    iMergent Inc., a publisher of e-commerce software for small businesses and entrepreneurs, reported Wednesday that it has appointed Dr. Anil Puri to its board of directors. The Orem, Utah-based firm described Puri as a respected economist and scholar who has been dean of California State University – Fullerton's College of Business and Economics since 1998. Before that, iMergent said, he was Cal State Fullerton's department chair and professor of economics. iMergent noted that, with the addition of the 59-year-old Puri, its board now boasts seven directors.
