    CrimeReports Rolls Analytics Tool

Salt Lake City, Utah-based CrimeReports.com, which maps out neighborhood crime reports for the public, revealed Monday that it has rolled out a limited beta release of a new tool for police agencies. According to the firm, its CrimeReports Command Central platform is a Web-based analytics application that dynamically tracks, manages and controls incident-level crime data for the police. CrimeReports.com added that the platform extends the functionality of its Web site by providing police agencies with secure access to pertinent and timely visual data—such as charts, graphs and maps—via a dashboard display.
