Concept To Company Competitions Expand To Southern Utah

Grow Utah Ventures, Zions Bank, and USTAR said Friday that they are expanding their "Concept to Company" contest to Southern Utah. The new Southern Utah competition, which was created by Grow Utah Ventures to encourage entrepreneurism, is similar to a competition the group had in Ogden last month. The contest awards $20,000 in cash plus consulting or prototype services to the winner, plus $10,000 each to two runner ups. The contest is open to both Utah-based and out-of-state entrepreneurs, however, out-of-state entrepreneurs have to move their companies into the area. The new contest runs through December 10th.
