Broadweave Hires Telarus for Commercial Marketing Less than a week after finalizing its acquisition of the nation’s largest municipal fiber-to-home network, Broadweave Networks revealed Thursday that it has retained a master sales agent to market its ultra-high-speed Internet service to businesses. Terms of the marketing agreement were not disclosed. On Tuesday, Broadweave announced that it had concluded its $40.6 million purchase of the iProvo network, which serves 36,000 homes, businesses, government buildings and schools in Provo, Utah. The South Jordan, Utah-based company said it has contracted with Telarus Inc. to market and sell its commercial high-speed data and voice services under the Broadweave brand. Broadweave added that Telarus sales agents have already begun reaching out to Provo businesses and hope to contact them all within the next few weeks. posted on Thursday, September 4, 2008
