COPAN Boosts Channel Program
Longmont, Colorado-based COPAN Systems, a developer of data storage products, said Wednesday that the firm has launched a new internal channel partner program. According to the firm, the new International Channel Partner Progamme is targeted at delivering its storage solutions to enterprise customers worldwide. COPAN said it now has 21 partners in the EMEA, 12 partners in Asia, as well as 25 partners in North America. The partner program provides training, pre-sales technical support, presentations, marketing collateral, and othe resources for its partners. COPAN develops power managed magentic disk storage systems, targeted at replacing tape for nearline backup. The firm is venture backed by Austin Ventures, Globespan Capital, Pequot Ventures, Credit Suisse and Battery Ventures.
