vSpring Adds EIR Salt Lake City-based venture capital firm vSpring Capital has tapped one of its portfolio companies for a new Executive In Residence. According to San Francisco-based Penguin Computing, Frank Matson, the firm's CEO, has stepped down from his position to join vSpring Capital as Executive In Residence. vSpring is an investor in Penguin Computing and vSpring's Ed Ekstrom sits on the board of directors of Penguin. posted on Tuesday, July 22, 2008
