    Quark Buys XML Software Firm

    Denver-based Quark Inc. said Thursday that it has acquired the asset sof In.vision Research Corporation, a firm which develops an XML authoring add-on for Microsoft Word. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. In.vision, which is based in Florida, develops Quark's Xpress Author for Microsoft Word, which allows users using Microsoft Word to develop content for Quark's publishing software. Quark said the buy would simplify implementation, and extend breadth and depth of their capabilities.
