    Webroot Founder Dead In Hawaii

    Steven Thomas, founder of Boulder-based anti-spyware software firm Webroot, has been found dead in Hawaii as a result of a fall from a cliff. According to the Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office Tuesday, Thomas died after falling from a cliff near Honolulu. Thomas had been missing for the last two weeks. Hikers found the body Sunday. Thomas co-founded Webroot in 1997, and later sold the firm to venture capital firms Technology Crossover Ventures, Accel Partners, and Mayfield.
