    NewsGator Inks Deal with Japanese Firm

    Denver-based NewsGator Technologies has tied into a Japanese online advertising firm, saying Thursday that it is in a partnership with Digital Advertising Consortium (DAC). According to Newsgator, DAC will gain exclusive rights to offer its Widget Services to Japanese media companies. Financial details of the arrangement were not disclosed. NewsGator's Widget products are used to promote content on web sites, blogs, social networking sites; the firm's current customers include National Geographic and Tribune Media.
