    Canopy Ventures Taps Techie

    Lindon, Utah-based venture capital firm Canopy Ventures said this morning that it has hired Joe Levy as Technologist-in-Residence for the firm. Levy joins the firm from SonicWALL, where he was its Chief Technology Officer. According to Canopy, Levy will support the firm's current portfolio companies, particularly focused on emerging security and networking technologies. Canopy Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm targeting information technology and life science companies primarily in the state of Utah.
