    Symplified Takes $6M

    Boulder, Colorado-based Symplified said today that it has raised $6M in a Series A round of venture capital financing. The funding was led by Granite Ventures and Allegis Capital. The firm said that it will focus on web identity management, and was founded by the former management team of Securant, an identity management software vendor acquired by RSA Security in 2001. Chris McKay of Granite Ventures, Spencer Tall of Allegis Capital, and Todd Rowe of Business Objects have joined Symplified's Board of Directors along with the funding.
