Chair Entertainment Acquired By Epic Games
Provo, Utah-based Chair Entertainment, a game development studio that develops "Empire," a computer game based on the novel of the same name by Orson Scott Card, has been acquired by Epic Games. Epic Games said Tuesday that Chair Entertainment Group has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Epic games, and will focus on creating new game properties based on the firm's Unreal Engine technology. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Chair Entertainment was founded in 2005, and also develops the Xbox Live title Undertow. Chair is headed by Donald Mustadard, Geremy Mustard, and Ryan Holmes.
