    Ubidyne Raises $34M

Ubidyne Inc., a manufacturer of embedded radio antennas for wireless devices, announced Wednesday that it has closed its second round of venture financing after securing some $34 million in funds. Ubidyne credited Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures with leading the oversubscribed effort—one of the largest venture capital investments in the European wireless equipment market in recent years, Ubidyne said. Previous investors Accel Partners and TVM Capital also participated, as did first-time investor BayTech Venture Capital. Ken Hawk, Ubidyne's chief executive officer, equated the sizable Series B to a "strong vote of confidence" in the company's technology. Based in Ulm, Germany, Ubidyne’s U.S. headquarters are in Tempe, Arizona.
